A funny thing happened in January. I’m obsessed with my skincare and hyperpigmentation on my face, yet it wasn’t until mid-January that I realized dark spots that had plagued my right cheek for years were virtually gone. For months I hadn’t noticed because I was being too critical. When I looked back at pictures it seemed to happy around September.
And what products did I finally buy in late August after saving up for few months – three fantastic Kypris rockstars!!!
After having sampled them many times and knowing they wouldn’t irritate my dehydrated sensitive skin I finally bought my coveted Kypris products. (Thanks in part to a Nordstrom gift cart I earned through my company’s peer reward system 🙂 ).
Kypris makes so many delicious organic, high-performance skincare and masks but these are my favorites especially for anti-aging, melasma and dark spot treatments.
This is a truly, luxurious, gift-worthy organic vegan beauty line. And its totally worth it.
Kypris Pot of Shade: Heliotropic Review
A strong mineral (physical) sunscreen is your #1 defense system against melasma, dark spots and hyperpigmentation. But if you wear a lot of makeup like me, you also want a natural sunscreen that performs well under makeup. Kypris Heliotropic Pot of Shade SPF 30 is pretty much perfect. I would love it if it had a higher SPF but it has several amazing features. This mineral sunblock has an incredible featherweight but still-feels-like-its-working texture and also acts as a makeup primer.
My makeup wears fantastically over this mineral sunblock. My only problem? The pot of sunscreen is rather small for the $75 price tag and I can run through this product rather quickly. Can’t wait to fill you in on my second favorite, backup sunscreen that lasts longer. Stay tuned 🙂
Kypris Antioxidant Dew Review
Are you sick of people over-exaggerating the effects of Vitamin C? It’s a great antioxidant (and yes, I’ve written about it too) but its combination with other stellar ingredients makes this Kypris antioxidant serum so potent. My skin can’t get enough! It slurps up this soothing serum instantly. If I could bathe in this, I would. My face loves this serum and it’s absolutely helped my melasma and dark spots on my cheeks.
Have you thought about buying SkinCeauticals C E Ferulic acid serum? Buy this antioxidant dew instead. It’s so nourishing and doesn’t smell weird. So vitamin C, vitamin E, ferulic acid, sea algae (a superstar beloved by our friends at OSEA skincare) , mallow plant and DPHP amino acid drive the power beyond this rick but lightweight serum.
This serum is perfection. I have to fight myself from using it in every single skincare routine I have.
Kypris Moonlight Catalyst Review
This is one stealth nighttime serum. Not as strong feeling as Ole Henriksen overnight repair serum but the texture is similar. This gentle resurfacing treatment had long been on my skincare wish list. Kypris had me at “herbal alternative to retinoid”….:) .
Don’t be surprised by the gentle un-feeling of this nighttime regeneration serum. You absolutely must wash your face in the morning and wear physical sunscreen to prevent sun sensitivity. Rosehips (another powerhouse), white willow bark ( #yassss) and fermented pumpkin extracts brighten and resurface with powerful results but in a gentle way even for my sensitive skin.
Kypris Moonlight Catalyst and Antioxident Dew make an amazon melasma and dark spot treatment combo!
